April 2013

Four orphaned Lambs found their way into our care.

Wow what a busy month, we have put all of our animals out, repaired and put up new fences, muck spread our fields, witnessed a bond between molly the jersey cow and our two goats, and are busy, busy, busy preparing for the open day.
Winston our permanent resident English bull has moved home so his enclosure has now become free.
At first we were not sure what to do with it. After many discussions we decided that the rabbits needed a much more suitable and larger home. This pen proved to be perfect for them. It is spacious, shaded and has a warm shed full of straw. There are lots of tunnels and interesting things for the rabbits to do
Meet sue a rotti x staffie. She is 2 years old, great with people, children and other dogs if she is in the right home.
All she wants is constant affection, attention and plenty of walks. She is very insecure around vehicles as she was dumped, she came to us when her time in the pound was up. She has a habit of becoming protective over her family and dog friends and will warn new people that come to the house. She is fine with other dogs but will bark if on the lead as she feels threatened. If you can offer this loyal, loving, very lazy girl a home FOR LIFE then please contact us on 07758728265. home check will need to be carried out.

This gorgeous boy along with a female were abandoned at our gates this morning in a pet carrier. The Male seems to be in good health but is under weight. The female is very thin and has discharge coming from her nose. We have not got the facilities to take cats in at the moment, but had no choice but to take these two beautiful cats into our care. We will keep you updated with their progress. They will be looking for a home when they are in full health.
